Does ZEN report to tax authorities?

Answer

As a financial institution under the supervision of the Central Bank of Lithuania, we are legally required to gather and report information to the Lithuanian Tax Authorities, who then share this information with other jurisdictions as applicable per relevant tax cooperation agreements. This is in line with international standards, specifically the CRS (Common Reporting Standard).

The CRS was created by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and mandates that participating jurisdictions collect information from their financial institutions and share this information with other jurisdictions on a yearly basis. You can find more information about the CRS on the OECD website (external link).
