Important information
To use PayNow services in ZEN, you need to sign up using a document issued in Singapore and home address located in Singapore.
ZEN supports local SGD transfers via the PayNow system. PayNow outgoing transfers are available if:
- Individual client: your identity document is issued by Singapore and your residence country is Singapore.
- Business client: your company registration country is Singapore.
If your account has been verified with another document, not listed above, PayNow transfers will not be available. If you have the required documents and citizenship, you can update the data on your account.
PayNow is a peer-to-peer (P2P) funds transfer service in Singapore. It allows individuals and businesses to send and receive money instantly using a QR code, mobile phone number, NRIC number, or Unique Entity Number (UEN), or Virtual Payment Address (VPA) instead of traditional bank account numbers.
To send a transfer from ZEN account via PayNow, follow the steps below:

Log in to the ZEN app and go to the Home page (leftmost screen).

Tap the SGD currency, and then select the "Transfer" option.

Choose "PayNow" as a transfer method.
- Select the PayNow transfer method you would like to use. Possible methods for PayNow are:
- Scan and pay (QR code),
- Mobile number,
- NRIC number,
- Unique Entity Number,
- Virtual Payment Address.
- Provide transfer recipient's data, based on the transfer method you selected in the previous step.
- Enter the transfer amount and confirm the transfer.
- Done! You will see your transfer's status in your ZEN app's transaction history.
