If the funds on the account you’re paying from are insufficient, the ZEN.COM app automatically takes the missing amount from your other currency accounts, starting with your local currency (for example, PLN for Polish clients, SEK for Swedish clients, or EUR for German clients) and converts funds as needed until there’s enough to cover the transaction.
You don’t need to do anything. Just make sure you have funds in another currency, and the system will handle the conversion automatically. Thanks to automatic currency conversion, you don’t need to manually exchange money while traveling or paying internationally. It works seamlessly for you.
Examples
- Anna wants to pay for purchases in PLN with her ZEN Card, but there isn’t enough money in her PLN account. The app will first check her local currency account for available funds. If more are needed, it continues with the currency that has the largest balance and converts funds one by one until the payment is covered.
- Charles goes shopping on eBay and wants to pay in USD, but has no balance in that currency. The system automatically checks his other currency accounts, starting with his local one, and converts funds as needed to complete the USD payment.
Additional information
Automatic currency conversion works only for payments made with ZEN Cards.
Other transaction types, such as transfers, don’t support automatic conversion and require you to exchange funds manually in the ZEN.COM app before sending them.
