How to top up your ZEN account with cryptocurrency

Cryptocurrency services are available only to customers of ZEN.COM UAB. If your account is with ZEN-UK Limited or ZEN.COM PTE. LTD., you won’t be able to use these services.

You can fund your EUR balance using popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Tether.
It’s a fast way to add money to your ZEN account, even if you don’t have a bank card handy.

Before we start

  • New to crypto? You’ll need an external wallet or exchange to send funds, and the currency and network must match. If this is your first time, check our beginner's guide before you continue.
  • You can only top up your EUR balance with cryptocurrency.
  • Your cryptocurrency is automatically exchanged into EUR during the top-up. ZEN.COM doesn’t store or hold any crypto assets. Only the converted amount appears in your balance.
  • The service is handled by trusted external providers. ZEN.COM securely transfers only the FIAT funds between that provider and you.

Which currencies are supported

In ZEN.COM, you may top up your EUR account balance using cryptocurrency with:

Tether (USDT), Litecoin (LTC), Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), DAI (DAI), Dogecoin (DOGE), Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Tron (TRX), Avalanche (AVAX), Ethereum (ETH), and USD Coin (USDC)


Top up your ZEN account using cryptocurrency

  1. Log in to your ZEN.COM app and select “Wallet” from the bottom menu.
  2. Select EUR currency, then tap “Top-up”.
  3. Enter the amount you want to add, then tap “Choose top-up method” at the bottom of the screen and select “Crypto” from the list.

    Important

    Each cryptocurrency top-up has a unique wallet address that can be used only once.

  4. Choose the cryptocurrency and network you want to use for the top-up. When you’re ready, tap “Pay”.
  5. Review the top-up details carefully and take a screenshot. Our payment provider needs to receive the exact amount of cryptocurrency shown in the ZEN.COM app to complete the top-up.
    • The top-up won’t be completed if the payment provider receives less cryptocurrency than shown on the top-up details screen. If you send more cryptocurrency than shown in the app, only the original EUR amount will be added to your balance.

Refunds for overpayments or underpayments

If your cryptocurrency transfer didn’t match the required amount, the payment provider will send you an email titled “Refund available for withdrawal”. Follow the link in that email and complete the refund form within 90 days of receiving it.

Didn’t get the email?
Contact the ZEN Support Team. We’ll help you recover your funds.

If the refund amount is smaller than the network’s minimum transfer limit or lower than transaction processing fees, the refund won’t be possible.


Processing time for cryptocurrency top-ups

Once correctly sent, your top-up is usually settled within 1 business day.
If it takes longer, double-check if the payment provider received the exact amount displayed in your top-up details (remember that network fees may lower the final amount the receiver gets).
