How to buy and send cryptocurrency

Cryptocurrency services are available only to customers of ZEN.COM UAB. If your account is with ZEN-UK Limited or ZEN.COM PTE. LTD., you won’t be able to use these services.

You can buy and send cryptocurrency directly from your EUR balance in the ZEN.COM app. Transfers are simple, secure, and powered by trusted exchange providers offering competitive rates. This guide explains how to send supported cryptocurrencies, how exchange works, and what to keep in mind before you confirm a transfer.

Supported cryptocurrencies

You can send the following cryptocurrencies:

Tether (USDT), Litecoin (LTC), Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), DAI (DAI), Dogecoin (DOGE), Bitcoin (BTC), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Tron (TRX), Avalanche (AVAX), Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC)

Cryptocurrency is exchanged at the time of transfer. Your ZEN account itself holds only fiat currencies, not cryptocurrency balances.

Before we start

  • New to crypto? You’ll need an external wallet or exchange to send funds, and the currency and network must match. If this is your first time, check our beginner's guide before you continue.
  • Make sure you have the recipient’s wallet address and their network type.
  • Cryptocurrency transfers are processed by external providers. ZEN.COM only transfers fiat funds between you and those providers.

How to send cryptocurrency from ZEN.COM

User send a transfer in Digital Currency using the ZEN.COM app. 

  1. Log in to your ZEN.COM app and select “Wallet” from the bottom menu.
  2. Select EUR, tap “Transfer” and choose “Crypto” as the transfer method.
  3. Select a saved wallet, or tap “Add wallet” to save a new one. Choose the cryptocurrency you want to send. For some currencies, you may also need to select the network type.

  4. Enter the wallet address and recipient information. After details are saved, enter the amount you want to send in EUR.

    Important

    After you enter the transfer amount in EUR and tap Continue, that amount will be temporarily blocked on your account to make sure there are enough funds to complete the transfer. You’ll then see the amount of cryptocurrency that will be sent. If the rate doesn’t suit you, tap the back arrow. Your funds will return to your balance within a few minutes.

  5. Next, you’ll see a list of available Payment Providers for your transfer, together with the exchange rate offered by each. Choose the provider that best fits your needs.
  6. Verify all details carefully, then confirm the transfer. Transfers usually take a few minutes to process, though timing may vary depending on the blockchain network.

Things to keep in mind

  • Network fees may be added after you order the transfer. These fees are set by the blockchain network, not by ZEN.COM, and can change based on demand and transaction size.
  • Completed cryptocurrency transfers are irreversible. Always make sure the recipient’s wallet address is correct before confirming.
