Question
How can I send a Digital Currency transfer to an external wallet address from ZEN?
Answer
In ZEN, you may send funds from your EUR account balance to an external Digital Currency wallet. Supported cryptocurrencies are:
- Tether (USDT),
- Litecoin (LTC),
- Solana (SOL),
- Cardano (ADA),
- DAI (DAI),
- Dogecoin (DOGE),
- Bitcoin (BTC),
- Ripple (XRP),
- Bitcoin Cash (BCH),
- Tron (TRX),
- Avalanche (AVAX),
- Ethereum (ETH),
- USD Coin (USDC).
ZEN does not currently support storing Digital Currency in your account — only FIAT currencies are stored. Digital Currency is exchanged to or from FIAT during a transaction.
To send Digital Currency from ZEN to other wallet address:
- Log in to the ZEN app.
- Select the EUR currency bubble on the ZEN app Home screen:
- Press the “Transfer” button.
- Choose “Digital Currency” transfer.
Digital Currency transfer service is provided by an external provider. ZEN only transfers FIAT funds between the User and the external provider. - Select the Digital Currency you want to send the transfer in. For some Digital Currencies, you may also need to select the network type.
- Provide the wallet address, and recipient information.
- Enter the amount you would like to send.
Important
After you enter the transfer amount in EUR and click “Continue”, we will temporarily block the amount you entered on your account to make sure there are enough funds to complete the transfer. We will also show you the amount of Digital Currency that would be sent. If you do not accept the proposed FIAT—Digital Currency exchange rate, you can click the “Return” arrow in the top left corner. If you do this, the blocked funds will be automatically released back to your available balance within a few hours.
- Verify the details and confirm the transfer. Transfer usually takes a few minutes to process, but sometimes may take longer, depending on the blockchain network.
Information
Additional network fees may be added to your Digital Currency transfer after it was ordered. ZEN has no control over these fees, as they are charged by the blockchain network to conduct a transaction on that network. Network fees are dynamic, fluctuating based on factors such as market demand (high network activity leads to increased fees), transaction size (larger transactions cost more), and other reasons.
Remember that completed Digital Currency transfers are irreversible. Make sure you know the recipient and that their wallet address is correct. If you have any doubts, do not make the transfer. Learn about risks.
