What are the limits of local RON transfers?

Local RON transfers via TRANSFOND do not have fixed amount limits. You can send and receive funds without daily or weekly caps.

In rare cases, additional checks may apply for security reasons. These checks protect your money and may slightly extend processing time.

Standard RON transfer limits

  • There are no limits on incoming or outgoing standard local RON transfers via the TRANSFOND system.

Express RON transfer limits

  • There are no limits on incoming or outgoing express local RON transfers via the TRANSFOND system.

Good to know

If you’re sending a higher amount, for example a car payment, we may carry out additional security checks. This can take a little longer.

You don’t need to take any extra steps. Large transfers work the same way as smaller ones.
