- An emergency at your home: the police need you following a burglary, or your home is affected by a storm, flood, serious fire, explosion, vandalism, subsidence, a fallen tree, or impact by a vehicle or aircraft within 48 hours before the event.
- Public transport disruption: the transport provider you planned to use to reach the event does not run according to its scheduled timetable.
- A problem with the vehicle you're travelling in: your vehicle breaks down, is involved in an accident, or is delayed in a traffic jam for more than 3 hours with no alternative route available. You must also have allowed reasonable time in your travel plans for expected delays.
