If a covered situation prevents you from attending an event, you can submit an Event Ticket Cover claim. Keep your ticket, proof of purchase, and any documents confirming why you couldn't attend.
Event Ticket Cover is provided by Chubb, a global insurance company, and is available with selected ZEN.COM subscription plans for residents of Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Romania, and Lithuania.
How to submit an Event Ticket Cover claim
- Keep your event ticket, booking confirmation, and proof of purchase.
- Log in to the ZEN.COM app and select "Zenefits" from the bottom menu.
- Tap "Event Ticket Cover" and open the Chubb Zenefits portal.
- Provide the details of what prevented you from attending the event and upload the requested supporting documents.
- Submit your claim for review.
If Chubb approves your claim, you can receive reimbursement for the eligible ticket cost directly to your ZEN account, up to the limit available with your ZEN.COM subscription plan.
What documents you may need
The documents you need depend on why you couldn't attend.
Illness or injury
Provide a medical certificate from the doctor treating you or the affected person.
The certificate must confirm that the illness or injury necessarily and reasonably prevented you from attending the event.
Death of an immediate family member
Provide a certified copy of the death certificate.
Public transport disruption
Get written confirmation from the transport provider showing that the service did not run according to its scheduled timetable.
Vehicle accident or breakdown
Get confirmation from the authority or service that attended the accident or breakdown involving the vehicle you were travelling in.
When to report that you can't attend
Notify Chubb as soon as reasonably possible if something happens that may prevent you from attending the event.
Keep any relevant documents you receive when the situation happens. You may need them as evidence for your claim.
How much can you receive?
Your reimbursement depends on your ZEN.COM subscription plan:
- Good: Event Ticket Cover is not available
- Better: Event Ticket Cover is not available
- Best: up to 250 EUR
- ZEN: up to 500 EUR
The reimbursement cannot exceed the face value of your event ticket and only covers costs you cannot recover from another source.
