Local RON transfers unavailable from 30 October to 1 November 2026

From 18:00 UTC on 30 October until 18:00 UTC on 1 November 2026, local RON transfers will be temporarily unavailable because of scheduled maintenance in the TRANSFOND system.

During this time:

  • Incoming and outgoing local RON transfers between accounts in Romania won’t be processed. Transfers submitted during the maintenance will be processed on Monday, 2 November 2026.
  • New local RON account numbers won’t be generated. If you’re eligible for a local RON account number and don’t have one yet, it will be generated on Monday, 2 November 2026.
