If you are unable to add a card to Google Pay, check the following tips:
- Google Pay works on devices with Android version 9.0 or newer. Check what operating system your phone is using.
- Make sure that Google Pay supports payments in the country and region you are currently in (external link). Google Pay may not be available in all countries.
- Ensure that your device:
- Has NFC capability and it is turned on.
- Supports host card emulation (HCE) technology.
- Has a screen lock set up.
- Has Play Protect certification (external link).
- Does not have root access.
- Does not have a custom ROM.
- Does not have an unlocked bootloader.
- Make sure that the name and address in your Google payment profile settings (external link) match the information registered with ZEN.
- Restart your device, and then try to add the card to Google Pay again.
