You can withdraw cash with your ZEN Card at most ATMs worldwide. This article explains where withdrawals work, how to do it step-by-step, and what fees may apply, so you know what to expect before you insert your card.
Where can I withdraw cash?
You can withdraw cash at any ATM that supports payment cards. Look for the card logos on the ATM.
Cash withdrawals are available in all countries where ZEN Cards work.
For everyday withdrawals, we recommend using a ZEN Travel Card instead of the ZEN PRO Card. Travel Cards are designed to help you withdraw cash like a local.
How to withdraw cash from an ATM
Before you start, make sure:
- You have enough funds in your ZEN account.
- ATM withdrawal limits are set correctly for the card you plan to use.

Follow these steps at the ATM:

Find an ATM.
If the ATM supports contactless withdrawals, you can use a virtual card added to your phone’s wallet.
Keep in mind that not all ATMs have a contactless reader. In those cases, you’ll need a physical card. -
Follow the instructions on the ATM screen.
- If you are using a new physical ZEN PRO Card, insert the card into the ATM instead of using contactless.
You will be able to choose between "ZEN PRO" and your configured Travel ATM profiles (for example, "IT TRAVEL ATM", "PL TRAVEL ATM", etc.).
For cash withdrawals, always select one of the Travel ATM profiles that matches the country you're currently in. This helps you withdraw cash as if you were using a local card.
- If you are using a new physical ZEN PRO Card, insert the card into the ATM instead of using contactless.

Before confirming the withdrawal, check for extra fees.
Some ATMs charge additional fees, such as:- ATM surcharges
- Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC)
If the ATM asks whether you want to be charged in your card’s currency, always decline the conversion and choose the local currency instead.
For example, select PLN in Poland or EUR in Germany. This helps you avoid unfavorable exchange rates.
ATM withdrawal fees
ZEN.COM may charge a fee for ATM withdrawals, depending on your plan. Any ZEN fee is always shown in your transaction history as a separate entry.
The ATM must inform you about any of its own fees before you confirm the withdrawal.
If the ATM did not show a fee, and the charged amount is higher than the cash you received, contact our Support Team so the issue can be reviewed.
