You can withdraw cash with your ZEN Card at ATMs and in some physical stores. The way you withdraw, and where you do it, can affect the fees you pay. This guide helps you choose the best option so you can keep more of your money.
Choose the right card for cash withdrawals
If you plan to withdraw cash, we recommend using a ZEN Travel Card instead of a ZEN PRO Card.
ZEN Travel Cards are designed to help you withdraw cash like a local. In many countries, this means lower or no additional ATM fees compared to other cards.
Ways to withdraw cash
You have two options:
-
Withdraw cash from an ATM

Withdraw cash in a store
Some stores offer Cash Withdrawal at Point of Sale. This lets you receive cash as part of a card purchase.

Recommended ATM networks by country
Based on feedback from clients, we’ve listed ATM networks that are usually a better choice, and those that may charge higher fees. This can help when you’re traveling or withdrawing cash in your home country.
Please note
- Preferred ATM networks do not mean zero fees. They usually charge lower fees than the networks listed as “to avoid”.
-
If an ATM asks whether you want to be charged in your card’s currency, always decline the conversion and choose the local currency instead.
For example, select PLN in Poland or EUR in Germany. This helps you avoid unfavorable exchange rates. - The ATM must inform you about any of its own fees before you confirm the withdrawal.
If no fee was shown, but the charged amount is higher than the cash you received, contact our Support Team so the transaction can be reviewed.
