Local GBP transfers via Faster Payments have set daily, weekly, and monthly limits. Knowing them in advance helps you avoid declined transactions when sending higher amounts.
These limits apply to all accounts and can’t be changed.
Limits for local GBP transfers via Faster Payments
- Outgoing local GBP transfers: up to 1,500 EUR per day / 5,000 EUR per week / 10,000 EUR per month
- Incoming local GBP transfers: up to 2,500 EUR per day / 5,000 EUR per week / 10,000 EUR per month
Limits are calculated in EUR. The final amount in GBP may vary slightly depending on the exchange rate at the time of the transfer.
When do GBP transfer limits reset?
- Daily limit resets after midnight (00:00 GMT).
- Weekly limit counts the last 7 days, including today, and resets after midnight (00:00 GMT).
- Monthly limit counts the last 30 days, including today, and resets after midnight (00:00 GMT).
Rejected transactions also count towards these limits.
