If you don’t have a ZEN account but see a ZEN.COM charge on your card, it may be for an online purchase you made from a merchant that uses ZEN Payment Gateway.
ZEN Payment Gateway lets merchants process online payments. Because ZEN.COM processes the payment, the charge may appear as ZEN.COM in your card history instead of the merchant’s name. This can happen even if you’ve never used the ZEN.COM app directly. Learn more about ZEN Payment Gateway here.
Check if you recognise the payment
Compare the date and amount of the ZEN.COM charge with your recent online purchases.
If they match a purchase you made, the charge is likely for that purchase.
If you still don't recognise the payment
If the payment doesn’t match any of your purchases, protect your card first:
- Contact your bank or card issuer straight away and ask them to block the card. This helps prevent further unauthorised card payments.
- Ask your bank or card issuer to open a dispute for the payment. Your bank or card issuer can investigate it and may be able to recover the funds if the dispute is accepted. They’ll contact ZEN.COM directly if they need transaction details.
- Report it to the police if your bank asks you to, or if you believe your card details were stolen.
Because your card wasn’t issued by ZEN.COM, we can’t reverse the payment directly. For security and privacy reasons, we also can’t provide transaction details outside the dispute process. Your bank or card issuer will handle the dispute and will contact us if they need more information.
