ZEN Referral Program rewards are calculated from ZEN.COM’s eligible net profit generated by an Active referred Business user.
The standard reward is 50% of ZEN.COM’s eligible net profit from applicable fees, unless different rules are defined in the ZEN Referral Program Terms or shown in the referral program screen.
Rewards are not calculated from the full fee paid by the referred user.
What does eligible net profit mean?
Eligible net profit means the part of an eligible fee that remains with ZEN.COM after third-party provider costs are deducted.
For example, if the referred user pays a fee of 5.00 EUR and ZEN.COM pays 2.50 EUR to a third-party provider, ZEN.COM’s eligible net profit is 2.50 EUR.
If your reward rate is 50%, your reward from this fee would be 1.25 EUR.
Are rewards calculated from all fees?
No. Rewards are calculated only from eligible fees available in the ZEN Referral Program Terms.
Some fees, transactions, or services may not qualify for reward calculation. ZEN.COM may update the list of eligible fees from time to time, according to the ZEN Referral Program Terms.
When do rewards start?
Rewards start only after the referred user becomes Active. Rewards are not generated while the referred user is still Activating, even if they started onboarding or created an account.

How long can I earn rewards from a referred user?
According to the ZEN Referral Program rules, rewards from an Active referred user may accrue for at least 180 days from the date they become Active, unless ZEN.COM defines a different reward period.
Once the reward period ends, the referred user changes to the Ended status. An Ended referral cannot be extended or returned to Active status.
Can my reward rate increase?
Your reward rate may increase when more referred users become Active. According to the ZEN Referral Program rules, each additional qualifying referred user who becomes Active may add:
- 60 days to the reward period
- 4% to the reward rate for Active referred users
The maximum reward percentage is limited to 80% of the reward rate. The exact thresholds, duration, and reward rules are defined in the ZEN Referral Program Terms and shown in the referral program screen in the ZEN.COM app and MY.ZEN.COM portal.
From when does the increased reward rate apply?
If your reward rate increases, the new rate applies from the date the additional referred user becomes Active.
It does not apply before that date.
In what currency are rewards calculated?
Rewards are calculated and paid only in EUR.
If eligible fees are generated in another currency, they are converted into EUR using the exchange rate determined by ZEN.COM.
Can rewards change after they are calculated?
Yes. Rewards may be delayed, withheld, reversed, or recalculated if needed.
This can happen because of:
- chargebacks
- refunds
- reversed transactions
- fraudulent activity
- settlement failures
- compliance checks
- operational errors
This helps make sure rewards are paid only for eligible, settled activity.
