Visa+ lets you find eligible recipients by their phone number, so you can send money without entering their bank account or card details yourself. The recipient must already have their phone number registered with a financial service that supports Visa+.
You don't need a Visa card to use Visa+.
How to send money using Visa+
- Log in to your ZEN.COM app and select “Wallet” from the bottom menu.
- Tap the currency you want to send, then tap “Transfer”.
- Choose “Phone number” from the transfer options.
- Select someone from your contacts or add a new recipient by entering their phone number.
- The app will show which recipients are available through Visa+. If a phone number isn't registered with a service that supports Visa+, the recipient won't appear as available.
- Enter the amount and transfer reference. The recipient will see the reference in their transfer details.
- Check the transfer details and any applicable fee shown in the app, then confirm the transfer.
- You can check the transfer afterwards in your transaction history in the ZEN.COM app.
How your transfer is processed
Visa+ uses the recipient's phone number to find the payment details linked to it by their participating financial service. You don't need to enter these details yourself.
The ZEN.COM app then automatically selects the available transfer method based on the details received through Visa+. The money may be sent using:
- a bank transfer, such as SWIFT, SEPA, or a domestic transfer
- a transfer to a card number through Visa Direct
The standard fees and delivery times for the selected transfer method apply. You'll see any applicable fee in the ZEN.COM app before confirming the transfer.
