I see multiple charges for the same order via ZEN Payment Gateway

Seeing the same order listed more than once on your bank statement can be confusing. In most cases, this is temporary and resolves on its own.

This usually happens when a payment was attempted more than once, for example after an error or interruption during checkout. One or more of those attempts may show as pending.

If the transactions are pending

If a transaction is pending and hasn’t been completed, no money has been taken.
Your bank will automatically release the blocked amount and return it to your account during the next settlement period. You don’t need to take any action.

Once the pending status disappears, only the successfully completed payment remains.

If one transaction is completed and the others are pending

This means the completed payment has reached the merchant.
Any remaining pending transactions should be automatically returned to your account during the next settlement period.

There’s nothing else you need to do while this happens.

If there are multiple completed charges for the same order

If more than one payment was completed, contact the merchant where you made your purchase and ask for a refund.

In most cases, this happens due to a processing error on the merchant’s side, and they’ll be able to return the extra charge.
