I received a notification "You have inactive virtual card"

Question

I received a notification from the ZEN app about my virtual card being inactive. What can I do to keep the card?

Answer

According to ZEN Card Terms, we have the right to permanently close your virtual Card if it has not been used to make an approved Transaction within the last 6 months. This lets us optimize our service costs and ensures the security of your funds.

Because of this rule, you may receive a notification from the ZEN app to your phone titled "You have inactive virtual card", containing the last 4 digits of the card. If you receive such a notification and would like to keep the card active, you need to make at least 1 accepted transaction with the card in question until the 25th day of the month in which you received the notification.

If you make at least 1 accepted transaction before the 25th day of the month, the card will continue being active until its expiration date, or until another 6 months of inactivity pass.

If you don't make at least 1 accepted transaction, the card will be automatically closed at the end of the month in which you received the notification. You may then order a new virtual card in the ZEN app if you need it.

Please note

The rule of inactivity only applies to ZEN Virtual Cards - it does not apply to ZEN Physical Cards.
