Why was a high risk processing fee added to my transfer?

Updated:

It can be surprising to see an extra fee on your transfer. Here’s what a high risk processing fee means.

A high risk processing fee is added only when you send money to an account identified as high-risk. This helps cover the additional checks and protections needed to process such transfers securely.

The fee is 0.3% of the transfer amount, on top of the standard transfer fee. You’ll always see the total fee before confirming your transfer in the ZEN.COM app.

You can view the current list of recipients identified as high-risk here.
