What if your company is owned by other companies?
Show every level of ownership, up to the people at the top. Upload:
- An ownership chart showing the percentage held at each level
- A current registry extract or shareholder register for each company in the chain, showing its owners
What if a nominee holds shares or a role?
A nominee holds shares or a role in your company on behalf of someone else. Upload the nominee agreement. It must show who formally holds the shares or role, and who they act for.
What if your company is part of a trust or similar structure?
Upload the trust deed or an equivalent document. It must show:
- The settlor: the person who set up the trust
- The trustees: the people who manage it
- The beneficiaries: the people who benefit from it
- The protector, if there is one: the person who oversees the trustees
Can you send an extract from the beneficial ownership register instead?
You can send it as well, but not instead of the documents above.
