What do we need from company owners and directors?

In some cases, we need more information or documents about the people who own, manage, or represent your company.

Which personal details may we ask for?

For each owner and director, we may need their:

• Full name
• Date of birth
• Personal identification number, if they have one
• Citizenship
• Country of residence

How do owners and directors verify their identity?

We may send an owner, director, or representative a secure link to verify their identity. Only the person named in the task can complete it.

If the verification doesn't go through, we'll send a new link.

When do we need proof of a residential address?

For accounts with ZEN-UK Limited, we may need proof of the residential address of an owner or representative. Upload one recent document showing the person's full name and address:

• Utility bill
• Bank statement
• Letter from a government authority

When may we ask for a residence permit?

If someone verified their identity with a document from a country we don't serve, but they live in another country, we may ask them to verify again. They'll need their residence permit from the country where they live.

What is a politically exposed person?

It's someone who holds, or has held, a prominent public role. This also includes their family members and close associates.

We may ask you to confirm whether any owner, director, or representative of your company is a politically exposed person.
