How to use Stones

When you collect enough Shards and add them to form a full Stone, you can exchange it for a reward in the ZEN.COM app. This is how to redeem your Stone for moneyback on one of your completed ZEN Card payments.

Before we start

Make sure you have a full Stone. Each Stone needs a specific number of Shards:

  • Little Treats Stone: 70 Shards
  • Deals Stone: 150 Shards
  • Support Stone: 200 Shards
  • Passion Stone: 300 Shards
  • Bills Stone: 500 Shards
  • Fortune Stone: 1500 Shards

How to unlock your reward

  1. Log in to your ZEN.COM app and select “Rewards” from the bottom menu.
  2. Tap the full Stone, or add Shards to one of your Stones.
  3. Select “Unlock now”. You will receive one random Stone from the chosen category.
  4. Review the reward you’ve won and choose one of the options:
    • Use it on your account by tapping “View in Reward Zone”.
    • Gift to another ZEN user by tapping “Gift to a friend”.

What happens after unlocking a Stone

You’ll receive a Stone from your chosen category with a specific value. For example, choosing from a Bills Stone may give you one of these: Utilities, Fuel, Internet or Mobile Stone, with a value between 15 and 50 EUR.

How to use your Stone on a transaction

  1. Log in to your ZEN.COM app and select “Rewards” from the bottom menu.
  2. Tap “Reward Zone” at the bottom of the screen. Then, select one of the available rewards and tap “Use”.
    • If you're using a Deals Stone, activate the offer before shopping. The increased cashback will appear after the purchase is completed. Deals Stones work only for your next purchase and can’t be applied to past transactions.
    • If you're using any other Stone, you’ll see a list of suggested card payments that match your Stone type. Stones work only for card payments. Transfers and other payment types aren’t eligible.
  3. Choose a transaction and tap “Confirm”. If you’re using a Deals Stone, activate the offer before shopping.

You’ll receive your moneyback once the exchange is processed. Some Stones may take up to 3 business days to process. When the reward is granted, you’ll see a transaction in your history labelled “Reward Zone Moneyback”. Used Stones can't be returned. For more details, see: My request to use a Stone is processing.

If no transactions appear for your Stone

If no transactions appear, this usually means one of the following:

  • There’s no matching card transaction for this Stone yet in your transaction history (for example, Support Stones require a charity-related card payment). You may need to make a matching card payment first.
  • Your card payment is still Pending. Stones can only be redeemed on card transactions with the Completed status.
  • You’ve already used a Stone on that card transaction. Each card transaction can accept one Stone.

Important rules to keep in mind

  • Deals Stones boost cashback only on your next purchase. They can’t be used for past transactions.
  • All other Stones can be used on past completed card transactions, as long as the merchant category matches the Stone category.
  • If your order gets cancelled, the used Deal Stone can’t be returned.
  • If your Stone value is higher than the transaction amount, you’ll receive moneyback up to the amount of the transaction.
    Example: using a 2 EUR Stone on a 1 EUR transaction gives you 1 EUR.
  • If the category doesn’t match, the Stone may be rejected and returned to your Reward Zone.
    Example: Support Stones work only for charity-related card payments.
