When you collect enough Shards to create a full Stone, you can unlock a reward in the ZEN.COM app. Depending on the Stone type, you can use it to get money back for one of your completed ZEN Card payments, or to increase the Instant Cashback value on your next purchase with a Deal Stone.
Before you start
Make sure you have a full Stone. Each Stone needs a specific number of Shards:
- Joy Stone: 70 Shards
- Deal Stone: 150 Shards
- Support Stone: 200 Shards
- Passion Stone: 300 Shards
- Bills Stone: 500 Shards
- Fortune Stone: 1500 Shards

Unlock your reward
- Log in to your ZEN.COM app and select “Rewards” from the bottom menu.
- Tap the full Stone, or add Shards to one of your Stones.
- Select “Unlock now”. You’ll receive one random Stone from the chosen category.
- Review the reward you’ve won and choose what to do next:
- To use it on your account, tap “View in Reward Zone”.
- To send it to another ZEN user, tap “Gift to a friend”.
What happens after you unlock a Stone
You’ll receive a Stone from your chosen category with a specific value.
For example, choosing from a Bills Stone may give you one of these: Utilities, Fuel, Internet or Mobile Stone, with a value between 15 and 50 EUR.
Use your Stone on a transaction
- Log in to your ZEN.COM app and select “Rewards” from the bottom menu.
- Tap “Reward Zone” at the bottom of the screen. Then, select one of the available rewards and tap “Use”.
- If you’re using a Deal Stone, check this article to learn how to use it. Deal Stones work only for your next purchase and can’t be applied to past transactions.
- Choose one of the suggested card payments that match your Stone type. Stones work only for card payments. Transfers and other payment types aren’t eligible.
- Tap “Confirm”.
You’ll receive your money back once the exchange is processed. Some Stones may take up to 3 business days to process.
When the reward is granted, you’ll see a transaction in your history labelled “Reward Zone Moneyback”.

If no transactions appear for your Stone
If no transactions appear, it usually means one of these things:
- There’s no matching card transaction for this Stone yet in your transaction history. For example, Support Stones require a charity-related card payment. You may need to make a matching card payment first.
- Your card payment is still Pending. Stones can only be redeemed on card transactions with the Completed status.
- You’ve already used a Stone on that card transaction. Each card transaction can accept one Stone.

Important rules to keep in mind
- Deal Stones boost cashback only on your next purchase. They can’t be used for past transactions.
- All other Stones can be used on past completed card transactions, as long as the merchant category matches the Stone category.
- If your order gets cancelled, the used Deal Stone can’t be returned.
- If your Stone value is higher than the transaction amount, you’ll receive money back up to the amount of the transaction.
Example: using a 2 EUR Stone on a 1 EUR transaction gives you 1 EUR. - If the category doesn’t match, the Stone may be rejected and returned to your Reward Zone.
