How to collect Shards

You earn Shards as you use your ZEN account, and they help you build Stones in the Reward Zone. Here’s how Shards are added, which payments qualify, and how to check your balance.

How to earn Shards

You can collect Shards in several ways:

• Spend with your ZEN PRO Card
  You earn 1 Shard for every 3.30 EUR you spend with the ZEN PRO Card. It can be a single transaction or several smaller ones adding up to that amount. In most cases, Shards appear right after the payment. Sometimes it may take a little longer, which is normal.
• Win extra Shards during payments
  Every payment with your ZEN PRO Card gives you a chance to win additional Shards or even full Stones. The bigger the single purchase, the higher the chance.
• Complete ZEN Quests
  Some Quests reward you with Shards when you finish all tasks.
• Share Stones with your ZEN Buddies
  When you share Stones, you can earn Synergy Shards.
• Complete selected in-app activities
  Some activities inside the ZEN.COM app, such as completing a transfer verification, may award Shards.

Payments in other currencies and refunds

If the payment was made in another currency, the amount is converted to EUR using ZEN.COM's exchange rate at the moment of the transaction.

If you later receive a refund for a payment that previously earned Shards, those Shards are automatically reversed. To learn more, read our guide about reversing Shards.

Which transactions don’t qualify for Shards

To keep the Reward Zone fair, some transaction types are excluded. You won’t earn Shards for:

• payments made through intermediaries (for example, Curve or PayPal),
• gambling or lottery payments,
• loan repayments, including Buy Now, Pay Later services,
• quasi-cash transactions (like topping up other financial services),
• ATM cash withdrawals.

How to check your Shards balance

1. Log in to your ZEN.COM app and select “Rewards” from the bottom menu.
2. In the middle of the screen, you’ll see your available Shards.
