When you buy electronics with your ZEN PRO Card and register the product in the ZEN.COM app, you get an extra two years of warranty on top of the manufacturer’s warranty. It helps you stay protected for longer without any extra cost.
What you need to qualify
To activate the 2-year Extended Warranty:
- Your individual account must have an active Pro Plan, or your business account must have an active ZEN PRO Card.
- You must pay for the entire purchase using your ZEN PRO Card, without intermediaries, installment payments, or BNPL services.
-
You need to register each product in the ZEN.COM app within 90 days of buying it. When you register the product, you need to:
- take a clear photo after you receive and open the packaging
- upload a proof of purchase, such as: receipt (with or without buyer details), named invoice, company invoice
- enter the correct serial number. The serial number on the service document later used for repair must match the one you registered in the app.
What the Extended Warranty covers
The 2-years Extended Warranty:
- Extends the original manufacturer’s warranty by 24 months.
- Covers new products only.
- Applies to items purchased from companies registered in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Norway, and Switzerland. Duty-free zones are excluded.
- Applies only if the manufacturer’s warranty lasts up to 36 months.
- Refunds repair costs up to the value of the product originally purchased with your ZEN PRO Card.
For full details, check the ZEN Extended Warranty Terms.
Coverage limits
- You can submit up to two warranty claims per calendar year.
- The total combined value of approved claims can’t exceed €5000 per calendar year.
When the Extended Warranty ends
The Extended Warranty is a free benefit tied to your active Pro Plan (for individual accounts) or active ZEN PRO Card (for business accounts). It ends automatically if:
- your Pro Plan is cancelled for more than 3 days, or
- your ZEN PRO Card becomes inactive for more than 3 days.
When this happens, all registered products lose Extended Warranty protection.
This benefit can’t be purchased, transferred, or sold.
What happens after the manufacturer’s warranty expires
If your product breaks after the manufacturer’s warranty has ended:
- Have the repair done in an authorized service center.
- Follow the instructions described in this guide to submit a request for reimbursement of repair costs.
