My Extended Warranty registration needs correction or was rejected

If you receive a notification that your ZEN Extended Warranty product registration request needs correction or was rejected, it usually means some details need updating. Check the categories below to see what to fix:

  • Multiple products in one request
Your request includes more than one item. Each request should cover just one product. If you bought several items, submit a separate request for each.
  • Product not eligible
Some product types don’t qualify under the Extended Warranty Terms. This includes products paid for using intermediaries, batteries, powerbanks, car batteries, car starters, electric vehicles (like scooters or bikes), and standard watches (not smartwatches). For the full list, see What is not covered by Extended Warranty?
  • Purchase made with installment payments, or Buy Now, Pay Later
The Extended Warranty applies only when the full purchase amount is charged directly to your ZEN Card. Purchases made with Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services or installment plans aren’t eligible. For more details, see Does the Extended Warranty work with installment or Buy Now, Pay Later payments?
  • Serial number not visible or incorrect
The photo may not show the correct serial number. Look for labels such as “Serial Number”, “SN”, “S/N”, or “FD”. The number is usually on the product, its packaging, or printed documentation.
  • Purchase outside the EEA
Your item was purchased from a merchant outside the EEA. Purchases from non-EEA merchants (for example, Chinese marketplaces such as AliExpress, Alibaba, or TradingShenzhen) aren’t eligible for Extended Warranty.
  • Photos downloaded from the internet
Uploaded photos must be your own. Images downloaded from the web, screenshots, or photos taken from another screen can’t be accepted.
  • Missing manufacturer name
Your product name must include the manufacturer. For example, “Apple iPhone 17” instead of “iPhone 17”.
  • Transaction amount mismatch
If the amount in your ZEN transaction differs from the amount on the invoice, add a short explanation. For example, if the payment covered several items on separate invoices or if part of the purchase was paid using a gift card, upload proof showing this. Extended Warranty covers repair costs up to the value paid with your ZEN Card.
