How to top up your ZEN account with PayPal

To make sure your ZEN.COM balance is always ready for everyday payments, you can quickly add money using global methods, such as PayPal.

Before we start

According to ZEN Terms for Individual and Business Users, you can only top up your account with a payment method issued in your own name. Using someone else’s PayPal account may cause your ZEN account to be blocked for security reasons. If someone wants to send you money, they can use ZEN Buddies, Bank Transfers, or Card Transfers instead.

Top up your account using PayPal

  1. Log in to your ZEN.COM app and select “Wallet” from the bottom menu.
  2. Tap the currency you want to add money to, then tap “Top up”.
  3. Enter the amount and tap “Choose a top-up method” at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Select “PayPal”. Available top-up methods may vary depending on your location.
  5. Complete the transaction. You’ll get a notification once the top-up is settled.

If you don't see PayPal in your top-up methods

PayPal top-ups aren’t currently available in Ukraine or France.

If your ZEN account is connected to a cryptocurrency exchange, disconnect it when selecting PayPal as a top-up method to enable it as a top-up option.

If your top-up didn't go through

A declined top-up usually means a limit or payment-method issue. Before retrying, make sure you're using a PayPal account with the same personal details, as visible on your ZEN account. Top-ups using another person's PayPal account may be unsuccessful.
